FIRST LEGO League
Introductory Meeting
September 8, 2005
Eight students and 5 adults met after school in room 100 to set up a FIRST LEGO League team.
Hope Romine is the team coach. Linda Hamilton is the mentor.
The 2005 Challenge comes out next Monday on http://www.firstleagoleague.org
We had the research vessel and a couple of test bots to get us started on ideas.
But we could not get logged onto the computers to check the FIRST site or program in RoboLab.
Next Thursday we will again met and see if we can solve those problems and
get started on the research and challenges.
To solve the problem of needing $150 for registration each of the team will bring $15 next week.
We have until the tournament on December 10, 2005 in Wheeling to get all the solutions to building,
programming, money, organization and research presentation.
There will be a Local Event at Marshall University Morrow Library on Saturday December 3, 2005.
