RoboLab Over the Internet

January 8, 2008
The Central City 4th grade TAG ran the RCX at the MU LEGO City over the Internet.

They teleoperated the rover
and some of the gates and monorails.

They sent programs to SENSORSCITY.
There is data taken from touch and light sensors. The readings of the light sensor are lower when the car
goes between the light and the light sensor just a it "looks" darker
when you place your hand in front closed eyes.

Many things moved when the program ran.  You can what the action on the camera
when you run a program and you can get the data back from the sensors.

The students took turns adding steps to a program to run in the room on an RCX.

Clicking the white arrow "RUN" sends the program from the computer to the RCX.
Pressing the green RUN button on the RCX runs the program.

They had different lights going on and off at different times and when different touch sensors were pushed.
