Wind Vane by the Weather Watchers

November 10, 2008
When I arrived the class was reading about weather vanes.

We looked at a compass to see which way is North.

We taped the base down.  The project will go on the SENSORSCITY site for December.

They worked on different ideas for building a wind vane.
This one tested out!

It works perfectly when the wind comes from any direction.

Even from the other side.  We can see which direction the wind blows from
because the wind vane points into the wind.

They are planning some more of their ideas for building weather tools.
