Lever Overboard

October 27, 2008

The weather is moving into fall and the class has their climate topic research ready.

They are working on the simple machine - first class lever.

Where the fulcrum is placed changed how much it takes to tip the lever overboard.

They figured out how many more each time.

It was and increasing increase each time.

There was a very careful count each time.

Each placement of the fulcrum farther from the weight took increasingly more weights.
