Rahall Transportation Institute's (RTI) S.T.E.M. Program Hosts Cabell County Talented and Gifted Students

Rahall Transportation Institute's (RTI) S.T.E.M. program is hosting Cabell County talented and gifted students today, February 19 at 10:00 a.m. on the third floor of the City National Bank Building (1900 Third Avenue, Huntington, WV).
The LEGO® event, hosted by Linda Hamilton (LEGO® specialist and RTI employee), will allow students to gain knowledge of the different modes of transportation through hands-on learning.
Rahall Transportation Institute (RTI) is recognized by the U.S. Department of Transportation for transportation excellence focused on applied technology, research, education, outreach and training. As part of RTI�s technology transfer initiatives, an extensive S.T.E.M. outreach program was designed to introduce pre-K-12 students to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, safety and communication concepts through hands-on outreach activities.
