Talking Heads
March 7, 2013

Thank you LEGO Education catalog for a talking head idea.
I brought in a version of the picture to this class and ask what is
the topic of the day.
They are going to a play about Julius Caesar and so were studying that.
I had them make the actors and program in WeDoTM.
By having both the action and "words" start on A
they can see the screen full size as the actors talk.

The cam raises the "mouth" as it goes around.

Some built while

others wrote the programs and typed out their words.

Some recorded one part also.

As it turned out this was the first time the fifth graders had used
WeDoTM.
They were so successful that these projects were left up for parents'
night.
