Culloden Fifth and Fourth Grade Robotics
March 11, 2005

While the fifth grade finished the monorail

they used one motor as a generator to make electricity to make another motor go or a lamp to light up.

The vehicle is safe to hold four people and there are bumpers on the end of the rail.

The group programmed the monorail to go back and forth from station to station.
Then they made controls to run the programs directly from the computer.

The LEO City at Marshall University has a monorail that theses students teleoperated through SENSORSCITY
and they had theirs to run at the same time.

The whole class could watch the action.

Fourth grade are working on projects they can do in Wednesday after school.

The Cities and transportation sets can be used to make a go round
by using the idea on http://SENSORSCITY.marshall.edu/CITY/pages/CarCount.html

Then the ride was programmed.

Meanwhile three other fourth graders made the little car in the Team set instructions at the last of the booklet.
We programmed it to move.  It is going to be made into an elephant.
