Cabell County Schools News Release - Davis Creek Elementary
Representative Rahall Pilots Davis Creek's Red Rover

Davis Creek Elementary, Linda Hamilton of Marshall University, and RTI, Nick J. Rahall II Appalachian Transportation Institute, are proud to announce that West Virginia Representative Nick J. Rahall II came to "teleoperate" their DC Red Rover and communicate via remote connection to drive their Red Rover robot earlier this week.  The Red Rover program is designed to accelerate student's knowledge of science and math through hands on activities.  Davis Creek Elementary fifth grade students teleoperated the Marshall University's RTI SENSORSCITY.  The robotic city can be operated using programs designed to move vehicles, run trains, pick up passengers and transport across town on the monorail to school, and plus there is also a special feature of the month.  The address to visit and/or submit missions to the city is:
