Mars Rovers and Red Rover at Davis Creek Elementary
September 1, 2004

Davis Creek Red Rover has a camera on top so you can see what it sees.

The rover is in the Mars box above the computers.  There is a hole you can see through.

http://10.33.88.5 worked from inside the schools in Cabell County and other schools in West Virginia.

Others used http://daviscreek.cabe.wv.us:8080 otherwise.

We can program other vehicles, too, using RoboLab.

All these vehicles were programmed to go 10 seconds.

Because they have different gear ratios they go different distances.

The Marshall University math students are going to figure out their rates in miles per hour.
The Davis Creek students will decide how to make
the best vehicle to do this year's FIRST LEGO League contest.
