Davis Creek Elementary
Marshall student will be assistant coach.
September 1, 2006

First thing in the morning, 4 students quickly built the first project in the newest LEGO Educational set.
We also set up RoboLab on one computer. We also ran the Davis Creek Red Rover
and the Marshall University Red Rover and SENSORS City.

Operating the  LEGO City.
There will also be an FLL set up there.

This was the last run of the summer rides.

Now the SENSORS City is set up for September as a construction site- just in time for Labor Day.
There will also be FLL 2006 set up paid for from RTI for FLL teams to use to practice.
FLL material challenge.Turn around demonstration.
After school  eight after school kids started checking out one of the FIRST LEGO League challenges.
The bot had to start from base then turn around the other direction and push.

The challenge is from the FLL 2006 Nano Quest.
The NXT and FLL materials  I will be using at the schools have been paid for by a grant from
NASA West Virginia Space Grant Consortium.

The two NASA Challenger schools and area schools that have teams will be able to practice at their schools
and at Team Time Saturdays at Marshall University.
