Toothless

January 17 and 18, 2007

Since reading a book about a very cute dragon the 5th graders decided to call their mining bot
Toothless.

These two have had RCX experience and have had no trouble with NXT-G with Carnegie Mellon
Robotics Volume II.

Students new to robotics make some guesses about why the robot turns.
"The third time it touches it turns."

Having the distance set to 20 instead of 5 cm for the distance away from an object to react to
made it clear that the robot did not need to bump into something to react to it.
