A very special evening was in store for the people of the Huntington area-
it was the annual Lighting of the Lights ceremony at Marshall University.
Lucky for Barboursville Middle school,
they were invited to show off their FIRST LEGO League presentation and robots.
An addition to the FLL set-up was Rudolph with a light up red nose.
Santa even paid a visit, probably wondering who had run off with his
prize reindeer.
The students presented Santa with an informational presentation on
coral reefs.
Students and parents dropped in throughout the evening to take a look
at the FLL setup.
This public event offered Barboursville Middle a chance
to do some rehearsal before their tournament in Wheeling.
The team posed for some pictures in pirate regalia and Santa even got
his picture made with the team.
A little one who was present got to have a seat on Santa's lap and
have a photo made.
