Notes and SubVI

October 18, 2008

Some cleaver hardware solutions have been figured out.

It takes many trial to  get ideas to work.

Keeping track of notes helps.

Ideas that work for one type robot can work for the other.

To keep track of a long program

notes can be a great help

from one week to the next.

Battery changing can be a big problem.  Worked fine this time.

To make programming easier for the new members of this team
theses two made the main motions into SubVI.

Each group of icons such as those for forward or down were combined into one icon
and a new picture was made for each.

A single program with all new icons was made and saved.
Now each motion can be dragged and dropped into the programs for the challenges.

This should make it easier for the future but it was a lot of work today.

Now on to programming and trying out the missions.
