First round - 80 points
This first meeting was full of digging in to find the rules, missions, and set up.
The team worked together fantastically.
The little one is working on a Team Logo.
The white boards are great for writing out ideas.
They did a lot of work on points and strategies.
As a teamwork project, I handed them the pieces for one beacon.
Just from memory from working at the field set up they put it together.
One clearly stated the order as "the way a traffic light is set up" and
the other two worked as one to have it put together in lightning speed.
The three team members today are dedicated, hard working and have great
parent support.
In the afternoon we went to the LEGO City in the City National Back
to set up the September theme.
After running the train from last month
we took that them down
to get ready for constuction.
It is possible to run the dump truck over the Internet with Red Rover
when that RCX is turned on.
But it goes fast and we will only have it on when some one is at the
room.
Thanks for setting up the construction vehicles.
Now they can be seen through the web
camera.
There is also an NXT to run over the Internet.
