Students from three groups are checking out gears ideas today by trying to make a car go the slowest.

Gears need to mesh for the motion to transfer from one place to another.
This strange gear train only makes clockwise motion on the follower gear no mater which way the driver goes.


Ideas were tested.

There was time to check out the AppaLEGO City.

RCX rover and NXT bot

Bunny hops around this month.  Data can be gotten from sensors.


As the cars were tweaked they were timed and tested.

Three contenders were great.
