Robotics Merit Badge

November 12, 2011
Scouts came for the robotics programming part of their Robotics Merit Badge.

First they checked out NXT programming to get a feel for where the motors and sensors are connected
and how the robot can move and respond to input from sensors.

Then they set up computers with NXT-G programming.

They built attachments and arms to perform the needed tasks.

They documented their work.

They took a break for lunch and played outside.

The afternoon was a lot of programming and building.

Arm up is A down.

A FLL Neon Noodle team member came and shared ideas about this year's FLL.
