High 5's and awards
Lunch is on your own. Lunch may be eaten in the outer lobby or you may
make plans to go out.
You may wish to make arrangements with the Pizza Hut on 5th Avenue,
close to MU Stadium, for pizza delivery.
There are also other fast food restaurants in the same area, or
you may make arrangements to bring a picnic lunch or food to share.
This may get cooperatively organized.
Pit Area for Each Team:
White board on wall of the outer parts of the main room area for banner,
poster, etc.
One rectangular table for each FLL team
Small round table for each Junior FLL team
Electrical outlets
Roll out boards for posters
Self scoring papers for each team for each round
Teams make sure you bring:
Computers
Robots
Chargers and extension cords or batteries
Presentations materials
Team
information Sheet
Posters, computer program print-outs, team information poster
Dry Erase markers to write on your area board
Pencils
Pens to write names on certificates
Paper
Masking tape
Bookmark Awards:
Awards will be given to students by other students who are commending
their gracious professionalism,
teamwork, presentation,
robot building and programming.
These awards are given student to student with comments written on the back by the student giving the award to explain why it was given.
Judged awards:
The Robotics Competition (many tasks in 2 1/2 minutes)
Robot Design,
Programming;
The Research Project ( 5 min. presentation on challenge topic)
