The opposite of a rigid bridge is a wiggle worm.

Now how to make long strong bridge?
The BOOM CHALLENGE is from the Brick Layers II AIMS book.
The bridge must fold to less than half. It is to be held to the table by one person holding only the building plate.
The length is measured. Then the weighted brick is placed on the end and the deflection measured.
The score is the length minus the deflection.
We made the challenge harder by adding a winch.
Now the motor can be used to fold up the boom.
