Today the children worked with the early simple machines sets.
One group built a merry-go-round and another group built a crane car.

After group one completed their merry-go-round they decided to build a car.
This was a great idea since group two had built a crane was working on a gas station.
The crane pulled the car to the gas station for some servicing.

We also built a bumper for our car so that we could get it to the gas station without using our hands.
In the end, both groups counted how many pieces it took to build their projects.
Some projects took only 16 pieces while others took 24.
