First they looked at the building instructions to see which LEGO elements were needed for the project.
Then they built the winch. It can pull in boats.
One pulley can drive another or one gear can drive another gear.
We got out the pieces for this project.
Two gears the same size go around the same
but the red has to turn around the yellow three times to have the people
face forward again.
The winch can lift objects, too.
