While Linda Hamilton was in Georgia this weekend for the FLL convention,
Danny demonstrated LEGO robotics at the WV State Math Field Day competition held at Marshall University.
A number of interested students and family members came from across campus to operate the bots.
We used the Ocean Odyssey challenge for the day's demonstration. Students were able to program
a robot to do different challenges in the FLL setup. With a small amount of initial guidance, students
were able to work together to program the robot to complete the dolphin, pipeline, and reef challenges
all by themselves!
A few students and parents expressed interest in forming FLL teams.
