Fourth graders at
Miller Elementary worked on
eLab Energy, Work, and Power.

The second part of the year they will work on eLab Renewable Energy.

These two chose to make a solar car.

16 studs is 5 inches.  60 inches is 5 ft.

The solar car went one foot each second.
The four square is 10 feet wide and 10 feet long.

The sunshine was not cooperating.  Outside seemed dark.  Inside seemed brighter but it wasn't.

Close to the light the wheel moved.
There was just a small space from the light where the wheel went slowly.

Just into the window light the wheel moved.  The shadow would stop the car.

Stop and start.
