Miller Third Grade TAG
January 25, 2005

These students learn how programming LEGO Robots can model real transportation.
Intelligent transportation uses sensors.

The programs are written in RoboLab on the big computers
and sent through the IR towers to the LEGO computer - the RCX.

Then the program can run autonomously on the RCX.

Lights or motors can ce turned on and off.

The four groups built projects with the Cities and Transportation sets.

After they programmed the projects

they ran by themselves.

Lights and vehicles can be programmed.

The college studetns at Marshall University math classes worked out the rates the vehicle moved
in miles per hours.
