The 13 News came to do a story on FLL 2005.
Linda Hamilton brings the LEGO robotics materials to Miller Elementary.
Some of the 5th graders got together a team with parent help and other students.
They received two trophies at the State Tournament.
There are many teams in the area that did the FLL challenges
and went to Marshall Local Event or West Virginia Tournament.
The robot that the Davis Creek 5th grade programmed is being operated today.
Barboursville Middle team worked on Thursday after school and Saturdays at Marshall.
Mrs. Hampton, TAG teacher, and principal Mrs. Scott encourage the student learning in the FLL activities.
Even when LEGO materials are not at the school, the robotics can be teleoperated from
the
LEGO City
at Marshall University.
