Traffic Signal

February 14, 2006

The students constructed and programmed a typical traffic signal.
Equations were used to determine the length of time that each light
should be lit (Red = Yellow + Green).

After the students programmed, we discussed driving procedures at
traffic lights and what to do at a traffic signal's counterpart -
a crosswalk.
The students also discussed the sensors that are used at
some stoplights to trigger a change in the light.
