Miller 3rd grade TAG took on a challenge today.
They programmed robots to go exactly the distance of 10 boards on their floor.
Then their teacher gave them a different distance.
The distance would be either 20, 30, 40, or 50 board widths.
For the first group they were to go for 30.
She figured out how to get to 30 boards - triple the rotation sensor reading needed to get to 10.
The second group programmed the bots to go for hundredths of seconds
because 1.4 seconds was to short and 1.5 seconds went too long.
Mrs. Hampton said to go 40 boards.
