The students ran the LEGO city from school.
This month's theme features two figure skaters, a downhill skier, a
monorail, and much more.
You can run the city by visiting netapps.marshall.edu/lego
and following the links.
The students were short on time due to a field trip, so we only had
time to build a non-moterized car.
However, not having to program anything did not necessarily mean it
was not going to be a challenge.
Students learned a valuable lesson about friction and moving parts
(do not place the tires too close to the frame of the car).
Next week the students will run the car through a "speed trap"
that will use light sensors to determine if they are "driving" the
speed limit.
