We made winches with three different gear ratios.
Some are very fast and some very slow.
Some are very hard to turn and some are very easy.
The 4th grade class is going to take turns practicing building with gears, pulleys, wheels and axles, and levers.
Then they are going to be helpers for the third graders.
Today we had a second grade helper, too.
