Building Projects
April 23, 2007

The basic set for LEGO Education was the Red set - Motorized Simple Machines.
Now a new set will be the basic set.
At Village of Barboursville 1,2 TAG pairs worked with the Red sets.
At Miller Elementary 1,2 TAG each students built the A or B part of the new Blue sets.
With the Red sets the students had friendly chatter about who was going to build which sub assembly
and who would get the pieces out for the next step.
With the blue sets there was worried silence and only questions to me when something did not seem to work.
With the Red set projects done the students seemed to be mainly interested in their own project.
I brought all the Blue set projects to one table and students seemed to look at all.
There was no feeling of  "I did it."
The Red set projects students were all pleased with their accomplishments.

One thing I will do with the Blue sets is super glue the people together.
