Bear Barrow

I brought the white simple machines sets to class today to do the Bear Barrow AIMS project.

On top of my wheel barrow I put the heavy weights.
Was that the best way to carry them?


Should the bears go near the wheels or near the handle?
Use a postage scale.


Or use a spring scale.



Measure the force on the handle when the weights were is the middle, near the handle, and near the wheels.

Record the results.
Where is the least force on the handle?

My wheelbarrow of materials was very hard to bring in.
Now I know I should have put the weights closer to the wheels.
