Change the
selected tool (the

cursor shape).

the desired tool.

Access the
Functions Palette
From the menu:
Window/
Show Functions
Palette
Right click the mouse on a blank part of the program  
Replace a function
with a different
function.
  Right click on the
function,
select replace,
choose new
function.
 
Copy a function or
group of functions
to clipboard
Select the
functions to be
copied, then
from the menu:
Edit/Copy
Select the
functions,
Ctrl-C  
Paste from
clipboard
From menu:
Edit/Paste
Ctrl-V  Note that large
sections of the
program can be
replicated by copying
and pasting.
Copy functions to another program   Highlight the sections and drag to other program  Note that keeping multiple programs arranged on one computer cam be useful to many groups.
Delete broken
wires
From the menu:
Edit/Remove
Broken Wires
Ctrl-B Broken wires can also
be deleted by selecting
the wire, then use the delete
key. Double clicking the wire will get the whole wire if it is bent.
Undo previous
step
  Ctrl-Z My favorite oops buttons
Autowiring Click upper right of left icon and upper left of right icon. Click and hold one icon and tap spacebar. Wire tool is needed for manual wiring and pointer tool works for autowiring.
