If the wheels are on a single axle they are hare to turn but are easy to turn if they are on separate axles.

Wheels can be uses as rollers.

Gears can make motion faster.


Gears can be used to change direction of motion at right angles.

This like tongs work.

Levers can be operated by pneumatics.

Pneumatics can be used for lifting

or pressing. Pulleys can be crossed to make  motion in opposite directions.

Pulleys can be used to winch up a boat

or construction materials.
