Spring Hill TAG
Speed Trap

The students built the "Speed Trap" project from the Cities and Transportation set.  They practiced
great teamwork (as seen in the pictures) and finished the build quickly.  We then discussed speed
and the units of speed.

The distance the car had to travel was 15 blocks.  The students decided that it should take 5 seconds
or longer for the car to travel that distance.  This meant the speed limit for our speed trap was
5 bumps per second, or 5 bps.
