I brought the windmill that had been up at the AppaLEGO City at Marshall University.
This TAG group had been working on generating electricity this morning
so we did it by using motors are generators ( dynamos) that were powered by kid power.
In the afternoon wind power was used to generate electriciy as these
students walked with the windmill.
We also used wind and solar power.
These 5th graders have worked on projects before
and looked at their projects on the web.
Today we are doing a solar project somewhat like another time.
Now and last year.
Make a ride.
The speed of the ride can be regulated by tilting the solar panel.
