this month there are bridges
since this is the month West Virginia has bridge day.
Building the bridge of the red simple machine sets but stopping at the next to the last version makes a drawbridge.
Today the classes are to estimate the width of the distance between two open drawbridges.
They wrote down their estimates after looking at the http://legocamera.marshall.edu
and then revised their estimate after building their model.
Measuring in centimeters first was not what we expected so we put two rules together to convert to inches.
Many of the 11 students at Village of Barboursville Elementary
came closer than I.
Now what ship is going to fit?
