Each group was to get the same set of pieces.
They worked that out without seeing what the other group had by dividing up any duplicates.
By placing a plate above each crack they made long cantilevers.
and then figured out ways to improve the length.
As a bridge that construction idea fails but turn it over and it can support a small weight.
