Aquabots

July 29, 2005
Family and friends viewed the robotic challenges for the last day of LEGO Robotics Aquabots camp.
After an hour of last minute programming, the groups demonstrated what their robotics did in two rounds
of two minutes each.  Some students did three or more challenges in their two minutes
or did different challenges in each of their rounds.

The FIRST LEGO League Challenge for the fall will be on Ocean Odyssey.
The state tournaments will be in December. The announce ment of the specific challenges will e in September.
Teams registration is on http://www.firstlegoleague.org/ between now and September.

The challenges these campers are doing will probably be similar.
There are objects to move, pick up, carry, activate, or retrieve.
The ideas for this camp are from Carnegie Mellon Aquabots.
