After a making a mosaic pattern, the next project was a game.
Then the machine sets were used to make cars and a merry go rounds.
The car went farthest on a smooth surface.
Gears can be used to change direction and speed.
LEGO Technology Gears
At first the challenge for the day was to use gears to make a top move fast.
The second challenge was to make a Snail Car that would go the slowest.
Gears and pulleys were all used.
Gears can be used to move gates and bridges up and down.
The cleaver engineering made one motor raise both draw bridges at the same time.
After the Snail race all the pieces are put away for the next day.
