Continuing Education Robotics LEGO Camp

This camp is a computer game where you program the computer.
The bots are computers that you program to do many challenges.

If you like this kind of robotics, perhaps you can get together a robotics team this fall for FIRST LEGO League.
http://www.firstlegoleague.org/

The computers have Dataloggers and RoboLab.
The instructions for the challenges are in Dataloggers and the programming language is RoboLab.

There are 8 computers, 1-8 and
8 bots (red, blue, yellow, green, gray, silver, black, and white,)

Use TWO hands to hold or carry the bot.
Turn bot off when not in use.

Squeeze parts together. Do NOT push down on bot. It WILL break if you do that.
The bots are to be kept the way they are built.  The only building will be to build and add arms and attachments. The axles have X shape.
Use the bent beams to attach to arm axles.
Engineers use the fewest pieces possible. Do not pile on a lot of pieces.

In RoboLab run RoboLab, Programmer, Level 4 (double click.)
Get Tool palette from Window.
Learn short cuts for wiring highlight and lightly tap spacebar.
Pass on good ideas and short cuts.

Click arrow to run.  (Or Ctrl R)
If there is a broken arrow, clicking will give help on where to fix program.
Keep your IR from facing another bot.

Rules and scoring are in lockbox in Dataloggers.
