Cars and Wiggle Worms

June 22, 2009

In this large room, 14 students are here to learn about gears, pulleys, levers, wheels and axles.

The first project uses gears at right angles and pulleys to allow for slippage near the motor.

The car was checked to see if there was a complete electric current path
and also to see f there was too much friction.

Depending on the direction the wire lead is connected, the two cars to a battery pack will go
the same direction or opposite.

The first team finished with disassembling and putting pieces back did it in under 3 minutes.

Wiggle Worm

The first challenge was to make a wiggle worm.
They were to make them as long as possible but short  folded.

Lounge chair

For the last few minutes at the end,
the students built the chair that can lean back at many angles.

Ready for summer!

They teleoperated the AppaLEGO City.
