Catch a Falling Star
June 26, 2009

The challenge was to build an attachment to a car to be able to bring back a star.

First we checked out the teleoperating from here to the RTI LEGO City and Red Rover.

Then they designed vehicles that could retrieve the "star" but getting candy was the way it worked out.

Many ideas worked. Each group redesigned until they were experts.
Using an arm that is about balanced but falls when the vehicle backs up is a great idea for FIRST LEGO League
for retrieving objects with out needing another motor.

Some other projects were built.

This waking machine is very strong

but not fast.

Then many merry go rounds were made.
They will go up at SENSORSCITY for the month of July.
The class will be able to run their own creation over the web.

Congratulations
