4-H

June 21, 2011

I made a scale before the group came in for class and they figured out which is heavier - a bear or a pencil.
We went over terms and procedures and then they started to build their own projects.

They learned about gears by building a merry go round.

The 4-H news paper came.

Lawn mover uses wheels and axles.

Separate axles makes turning easy.

The funny face and crane use pulleys.

Wheels can be used for roller conveyor with a winch.

Air power - pneumatics

were used for a press

and a lift.

Then it was fun to put projects together.
