Line Data
VOB

February 12, 2004

A line challenge is set up out of sight.
HOW MANY LINES?
Set up a robot with light sensor to read the light sensors data as it moves over the paper with the lines.
Data log the input from the light sensor as the robot moved.

Using RoboLab Investigator write a program to data log
light sensor readings, run program on test area, and upload data to graph.

Some one from another team runs the program on the hidden line challenge,
brings the robot back.
The team uploads the data and tries to determine the number of lines.

Here was today's line challenge.
See how well the data shows the white areas and black lines.

Today's bots and programs worked.
This is much like the rovers on Mars sending data to earth
and people
here learning about Mars with out being there.
