Going the Distance

March 16, 2005

Two teams are going to see which robot can be programmed to come the closest to a goal with out touching.
They get to program and try out a distance of one foot.
After 20 minutes their teacher will announce the distance that is to be run and
without testing at that distance the teams will have to program their bots.

Each team has a transporter, an operator and two programmers.
The operator gives the transporter information on how the robot performed.
The transporter transports the robot and the information to the programmers.

Robots can be operated here and over the Internet.

This is as close at it gets!!

Now figure out what to do when the information comes on the contest distance.

Program and do the run.

Getting there!

Measure

Now the goal is to get the candy.

This plan worked.
