Red Walker Beta
January 4, 2008

After two days of snow school started for the year. The Thursday
TAG came in on Friday to
help build the
Red Walker.

See if you can look at the pictures and build it with out instructions.
Or use LEGO CAD if you have
it.

It took quite a bit of doing to make the walkers from the Red Sets
(LEGO Education Motorized Simple Machines).
But they were fun to use when done.

After a little experience they estimated how many steps it went per
foot and checked it out.
Is each step more or less than one inch?

How thick a book can it walk over?

How much weight can it carry?

See if taking it apart in steps can help you build it yourself.

All the pieces were put back in their correct places.
Each set was checked.
