One concept used in building the acrobat machine is horizontal to vertical stability.
The distance between one hole and a third hole is 2 stud units.
The same distance vertically is made using two plates between two beams.
After getting a bunch done and motorize they hooked them together.
Then the dance that one student programmed for the RCX worked to make them all do a routine.
