Inch Worm

The Inch Worm using LEGO Educational Motorized Simple Machine set.

Many variations work for the arm and placement of the motor.


It turned out that this was a worm that went 3 inches on each move.

The most important part of the Inch Worm is the pawl and ratchet on each axle
The pawl and ratchet are to be set so that both the front and the back wheels roll only forward.
