First Grade Simple Machines

This first grade is learning about simple machines
bu using LEGO Education Duplo simple machine sets.

Gears can go opposite or the same way.
Opposite if there is an odd number and same it there is an even number of gears.

Then we checked out how each model worked.

Wheel and axles are used on cars.

Gears mesh and can make motion faster.
