Intelligent Transportation Systems Workshop
Using LEGO Robotics
at Marshall University, in the City National Bank on 20th
St., Huntington, WV.
ATI is a University Transportation Center funded by a $12 million
grant from the
United States Department of Transportation through the efforts
of West Virginia
Congressman Nick J. Rahall, II. One of the goals of ATI is
to encourage interest in
math, science, and the study of transportation to equip our youth
to solve our
nation's transportation challenges. The students were challenged
to build a system of
transportation and construct a city highway system through using
LEGO elements and ROBOLAB,
developed
by Tufts University.
DC Student Red Rover Crew says "Hello" to those touring the ATI demonstrations.
ATI AppaLEGO City is seen from a computer
at Davis Creek Elementary
with banner to Congressman Rahall in the background.
Banners hang over the Davis Creek Elementary Red Rover Center.
