LEGO and Decimals at Barboursville Middle Math Class
The plan for the day was division using decimals.  One project was the slot cars from the Brick Layers book.  Another was the calibration of the elastic capacitor car from eLab.  We also had a car go by the sound level.  Distance measurements were made in centimeters.  For each project the mean was found for three trials.

 
 

 
The Technic I materials were put away by  camera time. 

The car is getting its data logging program for sound.

We also worked with  the volt sensor and a motor (as a dynamo to generate electricity). We were looking at the difference with a load and without.
Our load was the merry-go-round.
